Baxter concludes the series of devotions on John 19:30 with this poem. I felt it was appropriate as well.

Finished! hear the cry victorious!
Love’s redeeming deed is done!
Now the Cross becomes all-glorious;
Now is wondrous triumph won!
Heaven’s atonement is completed
In redemption’s mighty plan!
Powers of darkness flee defeated!
Now salvation comes to man!

Pretty much sums it up. In saving us, Christ saved His Father’s plan and conquered sin.

Today, my prayer for you and I is that we will prepare our hearts for the coming Easter by considering the significance.
