Death Gain!

To me to live is Christ; and to die is gain. ~ Philippians 1:21

“To die is gain” for besides being with Christ, consciously, it means to be with Him in heaven, in that “third heaven” which is “Paradise” and the “Father’s house;” where shadows never come, and genial summer never ends; where the roses never fade, and the fruits never decay; where disease never invades and death never divides; where there are no tears and no goodbyes; where there is no sin and no sorrow; no temptation and not a breath of impurity; where all is light and love and sinless ecstasy.

Today, I pray that you and I realize these as our highest, truest, dearest longings.
