The Living Stones Webring is based upon a very simple premise:

I Peter 2:5 - you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Living Stones Web Ring The concept was developed soon after the April 19, 2007 devotion in which J. Sidlow Baxter reminds us that “Earthly priesthood is done away in Christ, except in the sense that all believers are priests.”

It is often joked that the Internet and World Wide Web are nothing more than repositories for pornography and music theft. So much time is spent on dangers of an on-line world and cyber-society.

I still think there is much promise, despite the current state, of the Internet and World Wide Web. God uses even the most wicked of tools to further His kingdom - and I sincerely believe that includes websites, blogs and the like.

The Living Stones Webring therefore exists to offer a genuine foundation for helping each other further our spiritual growth, to bring others to Christ and to ultimately further His mission.
